• Is the company licensed in your area and able to provide license number upon request?
• Do they carry insurance for general liability and worker's comp?
• How many years have they been in business?
• How many service techs and installers do they have?
• Do they have 24-hour service department?

• Could they provide a list of customer references that had equipment installed recently?
• Does the company have technicians that are NATE certified or have technical diploma?
• What is the average number of years of service for the employees?
• Does the company perform background checks and drug testing on all employees?
